St. Germain - Tourist (2000)



Towards the end of the old millenium sampling jazz records became quite popular among the house/electro scene. French producer Ludovic Navarre took this idea to the next level in 2000 when he invited a sextet of renowned jazz musicians to his studio and had them play solos over his trippy house creations. The result is a visionary masterpiece that marks the perfect fusion between jazz and electronic music.
